 HOW  DID BALAJI WAFERS BECOME  A 3000 CROWD  BRAND 





Balaji was started  by the trio virani brothers, in the year 1982. trio brothers to rajkot from small village dhun dharoji to earn and run the family.





During the initial day's the brother started a company  related  to agriculture products  businesse but they failed.and with nothing to do they joined astron cinema's canteen.




While working in the canteen they noticed  growing  demand for wafer and receiving contract to run canteen, the trio spotted the opportunity and decided to sell homemade potato chips named balaji, in 1981.







Soon the wafers were loved by everyone and therefore the virani brother decided to extend the product offering and expected the business. The company later on, set up a fully automated plants in rajkot and started the distribution in rajasthan  and maharashtra.





Chandubhai virani, one of the three brother is now the director at balaji wafers. it was chandubhai who trusted himself and refused to sell the  company MNC for offer quadruple (4 time) to its revenue in 2014





Balaji wafers generated the revenue of RS.3000Cr in the last year and as the numbers say, Virani brothers have been successfully in creating one of most trusted  chips brand of india.
